Seatstay plugs seem so impersonal. Sure the plugs save time. I enjoy making seatstay caps. Caps are brazed with brass. Brass has a much higher melting point than 56% silver. If one tries to braze a cap with silver it will loosen when the stay is brazed to the seat lug. Get it?
